Walt Whitman Elementary School Whole Site Modernization + Joint Use Field

The Whitman Elementary School project consisted of a comprehensive modernization of the entire campus, including upgrades to all existing classrooms, the Administration Building, the Multipurpose Building, and restroom facilities. Exterior improvements also included enhanced path-of-travel accessibility, new playground equipment, shade structures, and the creation of a dedicated garden area.

A major component of the project was the development of a new Joint-Use Field accompanied by a new parking lot, creating expanded recreational outdoor space for both students and the surrounding community. Additionally, the project introduced a refreshed campus wayfinding system, revitalizing the main entry and enhancing overall navigation throughout the site.
