The Corral Hollow Elementary School
Jefferson School District
Corral Hollow Elementary School is located on a 14-acre site within the master planned community of Tracy Hills in San Joaquin County. Part of Jefferson School District, the new school serves hundreds of students in grades TK through eight. PJHM worked closely with district and local leadership to ensure the design met program and civic needs while creating a beautiful campus where students and staff can learn and grow.
The new site offers space for administration, food services, athletics, 35 classrooms and communal areas for collaboration. Touches of vibrant colors adorn the buildings to help students navigate the campus while infusing a playful spirit into the environment.
Many structures, including the state-of-the-art library and media center, have high ceilings and windows which fill them with natural light and provide views of the city’s scenic rolling hills. The creative furniture selection provides flexible learning options, allowing teachers to creatively group students together for different learning modalities.
The expansive Athletic and Performance Hall provides students opportunities to develop their talents beyond the classroom by hosting performing arts, music programs, science competitions, STEAM and elective activities, as well as physical education.
