The Santa Ana Unified School District celebrated the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art classroom facility at Valley High School on December 9, 2016. Members of the community in attendance enjoyed student performances, remarks from the SAUSD Board of Education and plenty of photo opportunities with constituents in hard hats holding shovels.
The new 2-story structure will include 28 classrooms, teacher workrooms, and student and staff restrooms. The facility will replace the existing 28 temporary portables that are currently on campus.
The exterior of the new facility will feature a parking lot, a pick-up and drop-off area, and accessible upgrades.
The construction of a new classroom building at Valley is a continuation of the stellar learning environments that the district has been able to provide to their students and PJHM Architects is very proud to help continue that environmental development.
