It’s not every day you see a big yellow school bus pull into the Lakehills Corporate Business Park, but the California Military Institute students from Perris Union High School District were here to visit the PJHM studio to learn more about what we do. We jumped with joy as we saw the bus come to a halt in front of our Laguna Hills office. Aaahhhh, to be a student again and experience the thrill of skipping a day of classes for a fun field trip. We are quite sure there is nothing better to break your daily routine than a swarm of energetic young adults flooding the office with their excitement. PJHM Principal Architect, Tom Kruse, and Architect Derek Stemrich chatted with these bright minds about PJHM’s work in educational design.
PJHM recently completed the Science and Music building at California Military Institute. This building is the first new-construction addition to the campus dating back to the original construction in 1960. The first phase of many, this project initiates the transformation and modernization of an aging campus. The goal for PJHM was to provide students and the community a first-class educational facility that they can call their own. You can see more about the CMI modernization on our project page.
PJHM is proud to be a part in the process of improving this facility and to be working with Perris Union High School District. It is a great pleasure to have the chance of meeting the students we design facilities for.
