The Jordan High School Major Renovation is a long-term campaign to either modernize or replace all existing facilities on the campus. Working closely with Long Beach Unified School District, PJHM has been a part of this process since 2013, when the modernization of non-classroom facilities projects began. In 2015, PJHM took over all new construction projects as well, in which most standard and specialty classrooms are being replaced with new 2-story construction. Construction of 4 new classroom buildings and a new food services & VAPA classrooms building is complete, and existing Administration, Auditorium, Library, and Music buildings have all been modernized. This comprehensive modernization and replacement campaign is scheduled for completion in 2026, by which point the site will have another new classroom/SPED building, a modernized science building, and a new gymnasium, new aquatics center, new stadium and new athletic facilities for the campus.
