PJHM Spotlight: Chelsea Cordell

Chelsea Cordell

Hello, my name is Chelsea Cordell and I am very excited to join the PJHM team! I have always had a love for design and I feel lucky to be able to work at such a wonderful place. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from San Diego State University and my Master of Architecture Degree from NewSchool of Architecture in San Diego. I will always be a Southern California girl but my favorite thing to do is to travel and explore other cities and countries.

I studied abroad in Europe and Asia, and found the experiences to be so incredible. I found the Architecture that I had previously studied in textbooks, to be so incredible to experience in person. I learned that traveling further enriched my education to an exponential degree, and inspired me to learn, and travel more.

I admire many designers, but the first ones to come to mind include SANAA, Toyo Ito, Steven Holl, Richard Neutra and OMA (founded by Rem Koolhaas). I believe that good design can affect one’s mood in a positive way, and these designers inspire me to strive for that.

I am learning so much everyday while here at PJHM and I am thrilled to contribute to this wonderful company anything that I can, while gaining invaluable experience in the field of Architecture.
