PJHM 2012 Holiday Party
When you think of an awesome, corporate holiday party, what comes to your mind? Happy colleagues and cocktails? Great live music and a touching speech or two? What if you take all of that, add in some impressive artwork and a MASHED POTATO MARTINI BAR?! Yup…pure PJHM Holiday Party Perfection.
The shin-dig was held at the Orange County Museum of Art , and as part of the museum’s 50th anniversary celebrations, OC Collects presented curated selections from more than a dozen of the most important private collections in the community. Since the museum’s founding in 1962, collectors in Orange County have been among the most supportive and adventurous champions of modern and contemporary art, although this is little known or acknowledged within the broader artworld. The exhibition included major paintings, sculptures, photographs and videos ranging from classic modern works to emerging artists of the present moment.
Thanks to Tena and Allie in the office, every detail was taken care of. Succulent tablescapes provided by Inviting Occasion reflected the design and feel of our own office with artistic precision. The food, prepared by OC catering masters 24 Carrots, was nothing short of phenomenal. Grilled Lamb Chops with Red Bell Pepper Basil Pesto, White Corn Chowder with Dungeness Crab, Couscous Stuffed Fire Roasted Tomatoes…and then my favorite. The diet killer of all diet killers: The Mashed Potato Martini Station. Goodbye Atkins, hello Yukon Gold.
There was live music from soulful crooner Denny White. Amazing musician. So amazing, that Paul harassed him pretty much the entire party.
**To Paul’s defense, Denny said “Paul was awesome! When you’re playing for 4 hours it’s fun to dialogue with people.”**
Denny has a new EP coming out this month. I encourage you all to check out the teaser HERE and then download your free copy of his new single, “Colors” HERE.
During the party I encouraged everyone to whip out their iPhones and take some video footage. So here is a short recap of the 2012 PJHM Holiday Party! Happy New Year Everyone!
